One of the best -- and most needed in our schools May 3, 2009 W. Hargraves 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book renews the belief that George Washington was an extraordinary human being. He should not be forgotten in our culture. Otherwise, we will lose forever the wisdom and inspiration that made American culture and society so great for many generations. We need a renewal of intellect that this book can help accomplish.

I am a retired engineer. History was something that I had no time for while raising a family and having to stay current with my occupation.
I read this book after hearing about it on talk radio. I was amazed at how interesting it was and such an easy read.
George Washington, and other founding fathers, came to life in this book. I plan on reading the others in this series. A must read to understand how great our founding fathers were. It shows how fragile freedom was at the birth of our nation and how fragile it is today.
We need a man like this today July 6, 2009 K. Kirkland (United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm still reading this book, but have loved every minute of it. What an incredible man George Washington was. And I'm hoping that another indispensable man will show up soon. If you care about our history, truth, honor, courage and principles...you should read this book.
